We take pride in making some of the tastiest and freshest pizza around here at the Drove Thru in Carnegie. Using the best ingredients gives us the perfect pizza. Every ingredient in our pizza is selected for its quality and taste.
Our crust is not-too-thick and not-too-thin, striking the right balance between the two extremes. It’s light and tasty, but still strong enough to hold up to whatever toppings make your favorite pizza. The bottom of our crust is covered in a very light cornmeal dusting to give it an extra crunch and texture.
This is probably just as important as any ingredient in a proper pizza. We use the absolute highest-quality whole milk mozzarella and mild cheddar cheeses. Most pizza places use “part skim” or “low moisture” cheese. Whole milk cheese provides a greater depth of flavor.
We make our sauce in-house using pureed tomatoes and our secret blend of spices and herbs. It has a good tomato flavor without being overpowered by either sweetness or strong spices or herbs.
Pick your favorite and go with it! The most popular topping of all is Pepperoni, of course. But, we have all of the bases covered as well. Pick from pork sausage, Italian sausage, grilled chicken, bacon pieces or Canadian bacon for the meats. You can also add all of the veggies you want at no extra charge. Our choices include red onions, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, banana peppers, mushrooms, black olives, pineapple, and tomatoes.
